I have very little to talk about today. I am liking the blog thing though, and hope to have some company here soon. Went to Devo last weekend. They were in top form, if not a little pudgy. I have never seen five people more happy to be playing in front of an enthusiastic audience. Yes Devo, people still love you. I love shows like this anyway. They are like geek conventions. Geeks from all ages and classes cross boundaries to cavort, squeal, and carry on. Old geek friends reunite to embrace, and swap old AD&D battle scars and obscure inside jokes. Old geeks in full DEVO Has-Mat outfits and Energy Domes. Think your tough? Go to the front at a Devo show. They might not be the most attractive fans on earth, but they have enough obsessive passion, and lack of coordination to be truly dangerous. I personally look an elbow to the nose from one Devo fan, so excited, that he whipped his glasses into the stage gutter three times. The baffled security guards had no idea what to think. They expected an orderly crowd, and got a madhouse. A clean, polite, anemic madhouse, but mad just the same.

     This is blog day two. Probably no visitors yet, but I will ask this open question anyway: Sometimes when I'm watching TV, or thinking about people that I see, I like to picture what they would look like if they were cartoon animals. David Hyde Pierce would be some kind of EMU. I see the president as a chimpanzee. John Kerry the Giraffe.

Does any one else do this? Am I Crazy?

This is the first entry I will make. I have no idea what I will use this for, or if I will even use it at all. I guess we'll find out. Right now it's just a clearing house for random thoughts.
